Now it's no secret that I am a tiny weeny bit obsessed with Disney.. Its's come to the point where I'd call myself a Disney Fanatic! I grew up watching the films and know almost all the words to all the songs and films. If I was ever made to choose one thing to watch for the rest of my life, it would be Disney films. Anyway enough rambling about being a huge Disney fan, lets get on with the questions...
1) What is a scene in any Disney film that you wish you could experience?
I would have to choose the 'I see the light' scene from Tangled. I mean the lights, atmosphere, being on a boat with Flynn Rider (whom I may add is a dayuum fine piece of work). It's enough to make any hopeless romantic, like me, swoon.
2) What is an unforgettable moment you've had at the Disney Parks?
I went to Florida over the Summer and so, naturally, I went to all of the parks including Disney World. Probably the most special moment was watching the parade in Magic Kingdom and walking alongside it. It just felt like I was in a dream. My family and I had watched the fireworks in the evening at Epcot and after was when most visitors decided to head home or back to their hotels. However, we decided to go back to Magic Kingdom and were pretty much the last people in the park. We went on Splash Mountain in the pitch black and the ride broke down! We were stuck at the top of the ride, listening to Br'er Rabbit and Br'er Fox singing the same song repeatedly. You may not know this, but I have a fear of mechanical characters and dolls (It's a Small World was my idea of hell!) and I'm even more scared of foxes, so this was a very interesting experience!
3) When was the first time you went to a Disney Park?
I went to Disney Land Paris in 2003 (11 years ago!) when I was 5. Wow I feel old now!
4) If you could choose any of the characters to be your best friend, would it be?
It would have to be Timon and Pumbaa, imagine what a laugh they'd be?! Although I don't think I'd be much of a fan of eating bugs but apart from that, we'd lay around cracking jokes, singing and so much more!
5) Who are your favourite Disney Princesses?
I'm not much of a fan of the classic princesses such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, to be honest they kinda creep me out. My all time favourite one is Mulan, she is brave, dedicated, loyal and saves the whole of China. How cool is she?! She just inspires me to go with my heart even if others don't believe in me. In my eyes, she is the best role model. Also, the song Reflection, c'mon? Could it get any better?! Following closely, is Rapunzel from Tangled, I don't know what it is about her, I just love her and her voice is so beautiful! In third place is Queen Elsa, she is so different to the other princesses. She is turned against by almost everybody and has her own problems, I feel you Elsa girl. She shows us that not all Disney Princesses live the high life.
6) Name a scene in any Disney film that makes you cry, guaranteed?
Honestly, I don't cry at films, I don't think I ever have. Maybe once or twice, I just can't physically.I mean I didn't even cry at Titanic or The Fault in Our Stars. I'm weird, I know. But the scene that brings me the closest to tears and makes me well up inside is Mufasa's death and when Simba is crying out for help. "Dad? Dad, come on. You've gotta get up, we've got to go home". I mean, someone pass me a tissue!
7) What is the first Disney film that you remember seeing?
The Aristocats, an old classic.
8) What is your favourite Disney film?
I can't narrow it down to just one, it's impossible. So here are my top four in no particular order: Lilo & Stitch, Lion King, Mulan and Tangled.
9) Best Disney villain?
SCAR. Hands down. He is so sassy and hilarious but can still have his scary, pure evil moments.
10) Favourite Disney song?
Oh my God, that is the hardest question! I think in joint first place are 'Be prepared' and 'I'll make a man out of you'. In second place would have to be 'Let it go', such a powerful and inspiring song!
